I-COW Automatic Double Masts Very Narrow Aisle Stacking Robot is an innovative AGV designed for the furniture industry customers. In addition to the highlights of the laser AGV navigation and control system which is fully developed by I-COW's, this AGV also has the following highlights:
1. Customized AGV vehicle is for very narrow aisle running, saving space and human resources for customers.
2. Double masts and telescopic fork design: the innovative design combining double masts and telescopic fork，witch solves the problem of two-way picking & loading of long goods in very narrow aisle. It’s not only improves the utilization of storage space in the warehouse, but also ensures the accurate stacking of long goods.
3. Double masts technology: I-COW Double Masts AGV’s innovative design, is the first such product in the domestic AGV field. The two masts need to be kept sync in raising or lowering, and the height deviation should be controlled within ±3mm, which presents a new technical challenge. How to ensure the complete synchronization of double masts’ operation is a necessary condition for AGV to accurately storage goods. Through the efforts of I-COW development team, this problem has been solved technically perfectly. The product has successfully applied for as many as 4 related patents. Through professional technical guarantee, it simultaneously realizes the operation in very narrow aisle and picking & loading goods in the two-way accurately.
4. Support cylinder design: because the picking is operated on the side of the AGV, when the telescopic fork is extended, the AGV's center of gravity will be partial moved, causing overall instability. I-COW added a support cylinder on the side of the vehicle to ensure the stability and accuracy of the AGV during operation. This technology has also successfully applied for a patent.
5. Sensor layout design: the unique sensor layout enables comprehensive detection of ultra-high, ultra-long and ultra-wide goods, so as to ensure the safety of AGV operation and prevent the occurrences of goods drop and accidents caused by goods placed irregularly.
6. Automatic aisle replacement: each AGV is responsible for 2 aisle operation tasks. Compared with the stacker, the AGV does not require track laying and can do the aisle replacement operations. The application of "I-COW Intelligent Traffic Management System" enables the AGV to be freely replaced between two aisles. The two adjacent AGVs can be substituted for each other. In case of single vehicle failure, it will not affect the normal operation task, which fundamentally ensures the efficient completion of the operation efficiency.
7. Intelligent charging: Equipped with ‘i-COW intelligent charging system’, and customized reasonable charging strategy for customers, which meet the requirements of 24-hour continuous operation.
